Teru Teru Bozu | Amigurumi pattern
Hi!
Recently weather’s a bit crazy and we don’t know what to wait.. And if tomorrow we’re going to have an outdoor activity?
Japanese farmers used to hang outside of their window a
Teru Teru Bozu
, a doll supposed to have magical powers to bring good weather and to stop or prevent a rainy day.
Now the children make this little ghost before school trip :)
This’s my amigurumi version ^-^

With white yarn
Rnd 1: 6 sc into a magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: 6 inc around [12]
Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 inc)x6 [18]
Rnd 4: (2 sc, 1 inc)x6 [24]
Rnd 5: (3 sc, 1 inc)x6 [30]
Rnd 6->10: sc around [30]
Rnd 11: (3 sc, 1 dec)x6 [24]
Rnd 12: (2 sc, 1 dec)x6 [18]
Add safety eyes.
Rnd 13: (1 sc, 1 dec)x6 [12]
Stuff
Rnd 14: 6 dec [6]
Rnd 15: sc around [6]
